She has been writing books in her head since she was a kid. Back then it was called daydreaming and she did a lot of it. She realized later that they were all paranormal romances. Now she’s writing paranormal romances for real.
With a master's degree in library science and MBA, Marie has lived her love of books and reading from the time she took her first job as a school library assistant in the sixth grade. Her professional experience has taken her from the grand libraries of national law firms and government agencies to windowless newspaper morgues and federal archives.
She lives the riotous life of working woman and persistent writer and loves every minute of it. In between working and writing, she reads a lot of books. She also listens to a lot of music. Her iPod playlists are a thing of beauty. She thanks her kids for making sure her musical taste doesn't stagnate.
Marie makes a habit of staying up way too late. She says it is because she is a natural night owl. Some people think it might have something to do with the fact that she is addicted to big glasses of unsweetened iced tea and fancy coffees with whipped cream on top.
She resides in beautiful Northern Virginia. She wishes the roses in her garden looked like the ones in Casey Sloane's daydreams.
